Fall

I have been in a bit of a "funk" lately and it has taken me a couple of weeks to figure out what was wrong with me.  With the temperature dropping and the days getting shorter I realized that I was morning the loss of my last summer in Michigan. Summer is so beautiful here, the days are super long, and there are so many fun things to do. It seemed to go by so fast and the days are now shorter and the temperatures much colder.  Once I realized what brought about my "funk" I quickly snapped out of it so I don't miss the beauty of my last Fall in Michigan.  To kick off Fall we headed out to Three Cedars farm for a Michigan classic cider mill. 

Chase spotted the play train and went straight for it...

We ran from the train to the playground to continue our fun...

And who can forget about the "corn box"(instead of sand it is corn kernels)...

The kernels are definitely easier to clean up than sand but still annoying when you find them all over the car and the house for the rest of the day. We headed inside for some donuts and apple cider and then headed right back out for some more playtime. 

It was a beautiful fall day and was well spent sipping on cider playing in the cool crisp fresh air.  Fall is such a beautiful time of year!
