Boating adventure

We were finally able to make it out to the lake with some friends.  Doug, Lindsay and their two wonderful kids, Seth (4), and Jillian (2) joined us on the boat Friday evening.  The temperature Friday was in the high 90's so it was the perfect day to get the boat out again (especially since the low Sunday night is supposed to be in the 40's and high in the 60's). Anyway back to our boat trip. The kids all got geared up and were ready for some fun...

For the first time ever with this boat Kevin was able to try his hand at skiing!  The boat quickly pulled him out of the water and he flew around for a while. Unfortunately he hit some big bumps outside the wake, fell forward and hit his face with the ski...

The ski hit him more in the nose with is slightly swollen and sore.  After his fall he took a little break and allowed Doug and Seth take a spin in the tube...

They had a great time. Jillian was going to get in too but she changed her mind at the last minute.

Kevin was not going to give up so easily on skiing so he jumped back in the water to try to slalom ski.  The third try was a charm and he was up and going again..

Before we headed in for the night we parked for a few minutes and let the kids swim around...
