It is nestled on the coast of Lake Superior and all we had to do was wake up and walk out to a beautiful sandy beach and crystal clear fresh water. Before I get into all the beach fun i'll share our adventure to the Tanquamenon falls.
The walk to the falls was quite a hike, at least for little legs, so the adults had to do some extra work...
We needed our exercise, right? The walk is always worth it to see a marvel of nature.

After the sweaty hike back we took a break before heading back to the cabin.
After our little break we headed back and enjoyed some fun in the sun.
and you can't forget about our mascot for the week, meet Barron...
Barron belongs to John, a long time friend of Brooklyn and Diana, and he was also staying with us for the week. I'll finish up this days story with Leah's first roasted marshmallow....
Miss independent had to do it herself but then she wouldn't eat the marshmallow, more for me!
