Good eats, parks, and planes

So the kids have been bugging me for adventures since we have been back in Anderson and luckily my friend Lesley knew of an adventure we might enjoy.  She took us to a small airport in Greenville that just built a playground for kids where you can see the planes land and take off, and there is a cute restaurant called the Runway Café.

Circling around the playground was a paved track that was completely fenced within the park so the kids got to ride their new scooters without worrying about cars…

While we were playing we got to see a plane land and taxi up to one of the parking spots in front of the café and the pilot and owner asked us if the kids would like to see the plane.

It was a hot, hot day so we ventured into the café for lunch…

The kids had so much fun watching the planes, playing at the park, and riding their scooters, I know this place will become one of our frequent adventure spots. Thanks Lesley!

That's a pretty cool idea with the park, play area, and cafe near the airport/runway. Looks like fun the kids and adults!

I was thinking, "Hmm, this looks like something the McHusband would like." Looks like I was right. :)
