Petting zoo

We were so excited to join some friends to a trip to the Maybury farm. It was a very overcast day and was actually drizzling on us as we arrived but it did not slow the kids down. We could hardly keep up...

It was five dollars per family but they actually let us all in for a total of five dollars, score! We headed straight for the barn, chasing the kids down as we went. Chase of course spotted the tractor right away.
In the barn you can go stall to stall to see the animals.
Isn't this the biggest and most ugly pig you have ever seen?

Sheep petting, so soft!

Leah liked the sheep too.

Can't forget the goats

Chase loved the bunny rabbits

This is Chase doing his "Cock-a-doddle-do!"
After seeing and petting some animals, our little animals got hungry so we took a little break for snack.

The kids had the most fun with the miniature horses because they could pick the grass and the horses would eat it out of their hands.
Chase even got comfortable enough to give the horse a kiss...
We had a very fun morning seeing, feeling, and learning about the animals. Before we headed out to lunch we attempted to get all the kids to look at the camera for a group picture....

Well we got some of the kids at least and will probably never get them all looking at the camera at once.  Hopefully we will have more adventures out to the farm someday soon!
