We spent Christmas Eve with Grandma and Grandpa Anderson. Chase was super excited to see Grandpa and was ready to wrestle.
Leah learned two new words at my parents house (not bad words:)) because of their animals. She ran around looking for the "itty" (kitty) and loved to check out the "ish" (fish). Then in true Christmas fashion the kids did their best to keep all my mom's nicknacks wound up and playing their music.
After dinner Kevin brought the kids back to Grammie and Papaws for bed so the adults could relax and play some cards.
Kevin and I (and all the adults in the house for that matter) received the best Christmas gift from Chase and Leah when they did not wake up until nearly 9:00am Christmas morning. Once they were up however, there was no stopping them! The Grammie/Papaw Santa left quite a stash for everyone and Chase and Leah were very excited!

Chase finished opening his presents first and moved quickly to help others with theirs. Luckily Uncle Ryan was willing to have a little help...
Somewhere between opening presents we managed to stop for some very yummy breakfast...
Stay tuned for the second half of our Christmas day at the Anderson household!
