So life has been a whirl wind here lately and as each day has come we really have not known what to expect. On Monday 4/25 we quickly realized how much stuff we have that either could not be packed by the movers or we did not want packed by the movers. Luckily my friend Kate took Chase for the morning and I worked quickly to make our bathroom a "NO PACK ZONE" for the movers.
The reason we had to keep so much from getting packed is because all of our stuff packed by the movers will be going into storage for 30-60 days until we find permanent housing in Michigan. So we had to put aside clothing, toiletries, toys, baby supplies, and cleaning supplies. Once we had all this stuff crammed in our closets and bathroom we began to wonder how in the world we were going to get it all to Michigan. So Kevin and his greater packing abilities started to load up the truck to see if there was anything we needed to leave behind....
So although we were packed full we knew we were ok because there was still some room left in the very back of the truck. Now that everything that we did not want the movers to touch was out of the way, it was time for the movers to arrive and pack us up! On Tuesday 4/26 the movers arrived and began to pack.
It was amazing to see how much junk we actually have as they boxed it all up. Part 2 - The great load up, coming up next but first what would any great pack up be without a super cute helper....
