On May 19th our little man officially became a 1st grader! In a blink of an eye Kindergarten was over and we celebrated Chase's kindergarten year coming to an end with a small "graduation" ceremony. I loved the way the school combined several events to make life easier on some of us parents. The evening included K-4 graduation, K-5 graduation, and the preschool ballet recital. First all the kids sang some some songs for us to enjoy....
The preschool showed off what they had learned over the year with some pretty impressive songs. While they were singing Henley showed off her cuteness too...
Chase was excited to get on stage and sing. His class sang a couple songs and sang a combined song with the preschool.
Between singing and the graduation ceremonies, Leah's ballet class preformed their recital for us. The girls were so cute in there tutu's and Leah did a wonderful job preforming! She loved taking ballet this year and I loved her ballet because it was right after school extending the amount of time she was at school and keeping us from having to drive her somewhere else later in the day.
After the ballet, Chase's class graduated. The walked from one side of the stage from their kindergarten teacher to the other side of the stage to Mrs. Long who will be their 1st grade teacher next year. Chase is so excited about being a 1st grader and we are looking forward to another great year at New Covenant School!
