We actually started our Easter celebration Saturday by going to the Saturday service at our church. It was an awesome service and we were thankful for the opportunity to worship our risin Lord. By 2:00 am Easter morning our sweet Leah was awake with fever and congestion in which she has kept throughout the day. Not quite the way we had hoped to spend our Easter Sunday but we were able to still enjoy the day. Even with a 102.0 temp Leah was ready to dress to impress..
Chase was excited that the Easter bunny took the time to nibble on his carrots...
The sneaky Easter bunny also left us a yummy breakfast treat...
Nothing like bunny and egg shaped french toast... yum, yum. After breakfast the kids were dying with anticipation to see if the Easter bunny had left anything for them.
The Easter bunny actually found a great deal on some used mustang power wheels so Chase and Leah were two lucky kiddos Easter morning...
Leah hopped right in and made sure she had all her goodies with her in her car! Chase was ready to take off in his new "race car".
So Easter morning was a lot like Christmas morning in our house this year, not typical, but a good year for the McMahan kiddos. We were all supposed to celebrate Easter with our dear friends the Hoyt's but with Leah being under the weather Chase and Kevin headed over while me and Leah rested.
When Leah woke up from her nap we headed over for a little Easter egg fun...
We had wonderful day despite Leah being sick. Now if only she could kick this fever that doesn't seem to want to go away.

Maybe I need to leave a note for the Easter bunny next year. I'd love a new car :)
