By the end of day one we realized quickly what we needed that we had not yet found in boxes. We went to bed Friday night without showers because we had not yet found our towels. We decided Saturday morning that we would be very intentional about getting to the boxes of “essentials”. As well as getting to the items that were needed for dialy life we also wanted to create a box free zone. Some place in the house where we could go and not see any boxes!

As you can see creating a box free zone was seemly impossible. Slowly thoughout the day and into the night again we started to get boxes where they needed to be and get them unloaded. Unfortunitly as we moved boxes and items around the living spaces started to get clear but the basement started filling up.

We still have a lot of work to do but finally start feeling like we might soon be settled. Two days down of doing noting but unboxing, and organizing. Chase had so much fun playing with the empty boxes, it kept up my motivation to empty another box so he would have it to play with!
